It’s always such an honor to photograph friends. I met Adam when we were in college and have remained friends over the years… Gary & I were lucky enough to serve alongside Adam at our church here in Texas when he was the youth director. Adam is a great friend and guy so I was soo excited when he told me about Sara!! I’m not sure if he knew from the beginning that she was the one, but when talking to him and hearing him talk about her and their relationship I knew that he was going to ask this girl to marry him and I couldn’t wait to meet her. I think our paths crossed maybe once at church but Sara & I didn’t actually meet meet until after Adam popped the question and Sara moved to Houston this past December. Sara is one of the sweetest, most caring, loving, and amazing Godly woman I have had the honor of meeting. Sara & I haven’t spent tons and tons of time together but from the little bit of time we have spent I have loved every minute of it. I can’t wait to get to know her better and better and I love that she only lives right down the highway from us !! So to photograph Adam & Sara’s wedding day really was an absolute honor and I am sooo incredibly blessed to have been there to watch Adam & Sara say I do. The love that they have for one another and for God is incredible. They are so intentional on their relationship with God first and then with one another and they set such an example. I can not wait to see what God has in store for them as husband and wife! This is a duo that I know He’s going to do big things through!!! 10 months…
To be able to say that Kenzie turns a year old in less than 2 months seems CRAZY to me… but it’s true. Every month she keeps getting more and more fun!! This little girl has one of the sweetest and fun personalities!! I love love love getting to watch up explore and learn!! She’s soo funny & I think she loves to make herself laugh!! She’s got this contagious little smirk/smile that makes you just want to squeeze her !!! Kenzie, it is an honor to be your mommy!!!
A few highlights from this month… you had another well visit and you are slowing down a tad in the weight and height department… your head’s still growing through !! We had family photos taken (be on the lookout for those at some point when I get a chance to blog them), you had an eye exam, attended a wedding, your Gigi came to visit and help out for a week, you added peppers, cantaloupe, strawberries, blueberries, cucumber, cauliflower, and watermelon to you diet… you seem to love it all and you are totally content with feeding yourself!! You love giving “pop-pops” (high fives) and you LOVE giving kisses to mommy & daddy!! You are a sweetheart!! I love you my sweet girl!!! <3
